Shell Study II, original acrylic painting

Painted using textural brushstrokes, and coastal hues, this piece is a study of a Florida conch shell from a recent vacation on Sanibel Island. We made sure there were no snails before bringing some shells home, and carefully placing live ones back in the ocean :-) The kids loved all of the shoreline wildlife, sea birds, hermit crabs, and sand dollars. Saltwashed and sunbleached, I mixed colors reflecting the coastal atmosphere.

This original acrylic painting is painted on an 8x10 inch canvas panel and comes with a hand stained rustic wood frame that complements the coastal feel of the artwork. 

Shipping

Each painting is packaged and shipped with care to ensure it arrives safe and sound. Each piece is placed within an archival cello sleeve and topped with a bow- perfect for gift giving! Then each painting is carefully wrapped with recyclable paper 'bubble wrap' and placed securely within a box and shipped with tracking.
