Inspired by my growing backyard garden, and the flowering plants I add each year, each painting represents the joy of the growing season. Using bold brush strokes, and creamy oil paint, I blend colors on the canvas to create a delicate painterly interpretation of the blooms. This painting features a purple and blue hydrangea in the evening light.
