'Morning Light' 8x10 original painting by Katrina Pete

This original acrylic painting of blue and white hydrangeas is painted on a cradled wood panel and includes a metallic gold painted frame. Titled 'Morning Light', this painting is part of my Abstract Floral Painting Collection. Each piece is inspired by the joy of flowers and nature.

I like to study the subtle shift of light within a garden, the movement of petals and leaves in a slight breeze, the sounds of crickets and buzzing bees nearby. My brushstrokes capture the impression of light and movement. I like to add textured brush marks to show the detail and beauty of these hydrangeas.

This piece is signed on the front and back.

The painting measures 8x10 inches and the overall frame size measures approximately 10x12 inches.
