Moody Fall Florals

Using expressive brush strokes, subtle shifts in light and color, I created this painting of a grouping of white peonies in my garden. I used a muted palette moody floral colors of soft cream, moody green, gray-blue, and white for the highlights. I incorporated some textured white highlights into the petals that 'catch' the light and add to the dimensional feel of the piece.

This painting comes with a natural maple frame and is ready to hang on a wall.

I like to study the subtle shift of light within a garden, the movement of petals and leaves in a slight breeze, the sounds of crickets and buzzing bees nearby. My brushstrokes capture the impression of light and movement.

This piece is signed on the front and back.

This original painting will be carefully wrapped and shipped in a sturdy box.
